Trade Show Review: SWAG at the “AD Open” in-house trade show in Kiev

SWAG Autoteile GmbH had its own stand at the “AD Open 2011” which, with eighty different international aftermarket brands, provided a much-visited platform in the Ukrainian capital on 2nd and 3rd December.

The trade show held by the wholesaler AD Ukraine gave invited guests an exclusive opportunity to find out all about innovations from the car and commercial vehicle sector on the first day, while the doors were opened to the wider public on the second day.

The much-admired star of the SWAG stand was the joint play tester which was introduced as a prototype and will be ready for series production in spring 2012. This new test instrument enables fast and easy diagnosis of faulty steering components. The instrument can be used to examine both front and rear axles. Qualified staff from SWAG gave a clear demonstration of the joint play tester’s function and how to use it on a vehicle. The experts answered questions from the extremely enthusiastic and interested onlookers. Repair shop owners and mechanics in particular were very taken with the cost-effectiveness and handling of this new diagnostic tool.
